Located at the intersection of community and life, Hands for Youth CIC is a life-affirming journey that builds on the richness and power of lifelong values. We have been providing young people the values and skills they need to become exceptional community leaders.

At Hands for Youth CIC, we’re committed to building a society where every young person can easily realize their potential and achieve their goals. We believe that providing children a nurturing environment is essential to their overall development. Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, and through personalized attention and guidance we are essentially providing them with all the resources they need to thrive as leaders in years to come.

We hope to create a more vibrant and compassionate neighbourhood where Hands for Youth CIC is seen as an essential organisation which provides support to youth in South Tyneside.
We go above and beyond to prepare our youth to become responsible, actively engaged global citizens and leaders.
Meet our Founders
Our Founders; Nicole and Rebecca, were born and raised in South Tyneside. Both grew up without proper mental health, poverty and educational support - simply, because there were very few services available. Even now, they have found that services that are available to young people, have year-long waiting lists!
Nicole and Rebecca created Hands for Youth to tackle the service crisis for young people, provide affordable and engaging support that has no waiting lists!
